Liturgy & masses
Our beautiful sanctuary, stained-glass windows and liturgical art provide a welcoming environment for all who visit. Join us as we raise our voices to God during Sunday Mass, and visit the links below if you are interested in assisting the parish in one of our many liturgical roles.
Altar Servers
Boys and girls of the parish who are in the fifth grade or older are invited to participate in the Celebration of the Eucharist as Altar Servers. The duty of the Altar Server is to assist the priest during the Mass. Altar Servers are trained periodically during the school months.

Greeters/Gift bearers
A greeter's duty is to welcome people and direct guests or newcomers as they enter the church. After Mass, the greeter will be available at the welcome desk in the gathering space to answer parishioners' questions and to register new parishioners. The gift bearer takes the gifts to the altar during the Mass. (This ministry was re-started in April 2023 and greeters/gift bearers are currently serving during the 4:30 PM Saturday and 9:30 AM Sunday Masses.)

Heavenly Dusters
A new ministry began at Blessed Sacrament Church in 2015 - "The Heavenly Dusters!" The dusters are groups of 3 or 4 parishioners who volunteer to do some weekly light cleaning of the church for one month at a time. We are looking for more dusters, male or female! If you are willing to give an hour or so weekly for a month at a time to help clean the church, please give us a call at the parish office

Lectors
A lector is a proclaimer of the Word of God at weekday and weekend Masses as well as at other liturgical services. To serve as a lector, a person must be adequately prepared and trained to be an effective proclaimer of God's Word. If you feel you are being called to this ministry in the parish, call the parish office.
