The vision of Blessed Family Ministry is to form disciples of Jesus Christ within the life of the family, the domestic church. The ministry's goal is to encourage all families to live in the model of the early church as laid out in Acts 2:42:  “They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles, and to the communal life, to the breaking of the bread, and the prayers.”  Blessed Family Ministry, led by Ben and Emily Getz, will provide opportunities to grow closer to our Lord especially through two regular events each month: a family rosary followed by fellowship and a “Parenting with Purpose” night where various topics about Catholic faith formation will be discussed.

The first family rosary will be on Sunday, April 15 at 1:00 PM at the Idlewood Park shelter and the first “Parenting with Purpose” night will be Monday, April 23 at 7:30 PM in the Fr. Wuellner Room.

“We are continually looking for ways to better live out the beauty of our Catholic faith and to pass it on to our children. Family life is our path to holiness through the vocation of marriage. Through this ministry, we hope to gather in prayer, share our experiences, and more intentionally live out our calling as Catholic families." - Ben & Emily Getz
